Spirit guided me to Mama Cody on TikTok, and right away I knew that she would be a significant part of my journey. Mama Cody happened to be doing a Spiritual Gift Reading Live on this particular day - Heyyyy Spirit - so I sent her a donation, requested a Spiritual Gift reading and subsequently ended up scheduling a Distance Reiki session with her for the following week. I have been trying to find the words to adequately articulate what I experienced, but I’ve come to realize that the closer we get God/Spirit/Life Force Energy/the non-physical, the more ineffable these experiences become. Mama Cody is Divine, and the Reiki she so graciously bestowed upon me was and is so much more extraordinary than I could ever put into words. The kindness and compassion and pure love that Mama Cody so naturally embodies made me feel accepted and understood, and the healing she performed on my throat and heart chakras has emboldened me to walk unapologetically in my Truth and continue doing the work I was placed in this vessel to perform. I only pray that the sincere love, appreciation and gratitude I hold for Mama Cody and her infinite wisdom and expertise is accurately conveyed through the life-long work I vow to continue doing; because “Thank you” just doesn’t cut it.

During one of my first experiences with Dorothy’s House, Cody told me that 2022 would be a year of transformation for me. At the time, I had no idea how much she and the community provided to me through Dorothy’s House would serve as catalysts for my emotional growth and spiritual development. I entered the community knowing that I was wounded, but I had become so desensitized that I couldn’t even pinpoint the locations of those wounds. Cody has a way of provoking deep thought and encouraging vulnerability that can only be described as transformational. Cody speaks this affirmation over us regularly — “I’m fully divine, fully human, and therefore, fully worthy.” As a result of Dorothy’s House, I have been able to begin to tap into my divinity, while taking authority over my human experience, allowing me to feel a sense of worthiness that my inner child could only dream of.

My experience with Dorothy’s House has been amazing. I came across Ms. Cody’s page on Tik Tok and I’m so glad I did. Since joining Dorothy’s House, I’ve become more confident with trusting my intuition, I had a better understanding of the power of vulnerability and most of all, I’ve learned to make peace with decisions I’ve made. My healing journey has been long and often, I’m in my head about things that honestly, happened the way they happened. I made decisions in the past that weighed on me. The very first lesson was about making peace with decisions because essentially, it can impact the frequency that you operate in. It was simple, smooth and to the point. Quite profound. Since the very first lesson, I’ve applied this way of thinking in my life, and it has had a profound impact on a lot. I have less anxiety and guilt about certain things. Also, I have a very hectic work schedule, so, the option to be able to go back and review recorded sessions is so awesome! I’m so grateful for Dorothy’s House. Kodei is like the big sister you never knew you needed when it comes to healing and recovery. She is her full authentic self: no holds barred, down to earth yet gentle and patient. She gave me space to release what I didn't know I was holding in. As embarrassed as I was, she let me know I was safe and that I could take as much time as I needed. In such a moment of unexpected vulnerability, Kodei affirmed the present me, the past experience and the healing that is and is to come.

She also created practical, simple yet powerful strategies for each one of us to help us in our journey. And she followed up with daily prompts and reminders to keep going, letting us know she's with us on this journey too, as she does her own healing.

I've never felt as seen, heard, and safe as I did in that session. I've paid hundreds upon hundreds of dollars and spent countless weeks sitting in chairs and on couches. None of it comes remotely close to what I received from and through Kodei that day.
